Is an all year species, the world renown Marlin High Way works its way the length of the Vanuatu archipelago it is an underwater canyon which provides the perfect area to target them.

BLACK MARLIN

Is also an all year species April through to September being the period where they appear in larger numbers.

STRIP MARLIN

April to September being the most productive period when targeting this species of marlin.

MAHI MAHI

All year-round species may to October is when we encounter them in larger numbers, mainly targeted around the number of FAD’s that are located in easy reach to the harbour.

YELLOWFIN

All year round species . There has been a bounce back in numbers of yellowfin high success rates of encountering them is also achieved by working the FAD’s though some larger fish are caught out wide.

DOGTOOTH TUNA

This is another of many species that is found all year round by targeting the many reefs and remote seamounts that Vanuatu is famous for.

GIANT TRAVELLY

Like the dogtooth tuna GT’s are found all year round, reefs and seamounts providing all the action.

WAHOO

One of my personal favourites.., found most of the year but numbers are encountered during April to October whilst targeting reefs and seamounts, hook-ups are not uncommon at the FAD”s.

SAILFISH

Can be found all year round but April to September being the better time to target them, inshore reefs produce solid fish.

SPEARFISH

All year-round species though not seen in huge numbers being a characteristic of this billfish. Adding this species on your bucket list is a must and your always in with a chance sportfishing in Vanuatu.
